A fundraising film
for ed-tech pioneers

Textbooks are expensive. And when you’re studying, you only need them temporarily. Cue Perlego’s clever ‘Spotify for textbooks’ model. We helped them create an explainer video that would help them raise their next round of funding, and bring their whole team together.

THE BRIEF

Lovers were invited to create a film expressing Perlego’s mission in the words of its founders, funders and teams. Previous internal attempts hadn’t quite managed to capture the spirit of Perlego, and integrate sophisticated motion graphics to help tell their story.

Although focused on fundraising, we didn’t want this film to miss out the human story and energy of Perlego’s diverse, hardworking team. The startup’s atmosphere and people power was a key ingredient in how we built and planned the film, scripted to include multiple voices.
