A fundraising campaign
for future filmmakers

The BFI is well positioned to raise funds for our future filmmakers, but it can’t be done without a clear message.


We were asked to come up with a visual and verbal way to showcase the BFI’s fundraising work, making visible the impact of support. Above all, a relevant and memorable project name was needed to get things going.

Back The Future

We decided to bounce off one of film’s best-known titles to establish the idea of ‘backing’ as a supportive concept. This was reinforced with a key visual showing the possibility of future filmmakers progressing thanks to funds raised.
